On the SRE's birthday





All these bouquets reminded me of Mehdi Hasan's rendering of Saleem Gilani's lyrical lines:
'Phool hi phool khil utthe mere paimaane mein
aap kyaa aaye bahaar aa gai maikhaane mein'
