Strange dreams

My daughter's dog
was nibbling away
At my fingers in my dream
Nipping and nibbling, and I wondered why.
I'd been looking after her and had
forgotten to feed her for two whole days.
I nearly died of guilt in my dream.

And then, equally weird:
I'd called home a dear niece and her family
for dinner,
and time kept passing by,
it was getting later and later
and I just couldn't cook.
Strange, tired dreams.

The house is a lot cleaner now,
freshly painted, decluttered.
Maybe the old brain needs
a thorough springcleaning.

  1. @Banno: I think I do. Alternatively, some medication for a stomach infection, which I started today: it might have been my rumbling innards which caused the strange dreams!

  2. Definitely sounds like something you ate ~ or did not eat!
    I presume you're away somewhere ...

We just bought our dilli ke tickets. Manjari, Kartik and I will be there. Arvind may be, may not be, depending on work schedulez.
    Looking forward :)

  8. Two days ago I dreamt that I lost our car. Meaning, I parked it somewhere and just couldn't remember where. I told the child this and she claimed immediately that in her dream, she lost our house !
