A Crocodile on the Nile!

On the deck

Sparkles on the water

Pretty please!

That, my friends, was the only crocodile we encountered on the Nile. We spent four days cruising down the magnificent Nile, from Luxor to Aswan. Photographs are being sorted out very very slowly, but will follow soon.
We had a lovely room on board, with a large bed, a seating area, a fridge and TV (with hardly any channels, but enough for the SRE to have something to channel surf) plenty of wardrobe space, and, best of all, two bathrooms. Tiny, but one each!!!! What more can one ask for?

Croc or no croc, I am sure you had a fantastic time. And tell me, did you also have people swimming upto the ship and asking not for money, but for ball point pens?

@Sundar Narayanan: Thanks!!!
@The Soul of Alec Smart: In the age of digital photography it has become an endless task! Now we aren't always sure of which pic is from where!
@Rayna M.Iyer: Nobody swam upto our ship:( I remember that scene vaguely from a childhood halt at Aden or the Suez- I think my parents bought an Egyptian leather pouffe, long long ago!
radha:Thanks:)
@eve's lungs: All dramatic types in my house!!!
@M4: Isn't he just!
@kbpm: Oh, absolutely. My dream home will have them too, one on each side of the master bedroom!
@Sue: Me too:)
@chox:!!!!
@The Bride:It really was the icing on the cake:)
@uttara:Eventually!
@mandira: I'm sure you will too, some day.

Crocodile. I would have been screaming. But seriously, 2 bathrooms in a hotel room. That is a luxury.

@Banno: The room was much bigger than I thought a ship's cabin could be. The bathrooms were really small- you could just about stand and shower, there was a tiny wash basin,a commode, all in a cupboard like space, but it was great having one's own!
