Barkhaji, would you like a list?

Of blogs and bloggers and commentors who have criticised
(a) your coverage of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks
(b) your channel serving a legal notice against C.Kunte for his post Shoddy Journalism* which resulted in his withdrawal of the post and an apology.

It would make the filing of libel suits a lot easier for you.
You would know how highly you are appreciated by the blogging community.
The list is larger than you can imagine, and is growing by the day.
Do let me know.

*The relevant post is at the bottom of the page.

Indeed we should complile a list of all teh outraged bloggers who have spoken up against her, and then see how many she manages to sue. This is sheer blasphemy to our right of free expression.

Exactly. Does NDTV need our help? They're certainly showing a signal lack of the smarts...

Seriously. Does free speech mean nothing any more?

Please count me in, in any list of anti Barkha Dutt bloggers. I am not sure if her talk show is about her opinion stuffed down peoples throats or if it is about moderating a discussion of different opinions!

at the risk of getting clobbered by the vociferous anti barkha lobby, may i say there is a technicality here which may have to be considered. free speech and freedom of expression is sacred, true. But if anyone passes off opinion or conjecture as fact, no matter how high the likelihood of what he said on his post being true, isn't Miss B within her rights to threaten to sue for defamation? And the fact that she considers the blogosphere a serious threat to her professional rep says something about how scared the traditional media practitioners are of you all!!

@tanima: By threatening to sue him she has given far more exposure to his blog than it had previously, and yes,it is surprising that she/traditional media find(s) the blogosphere a power to even bother contending with.
Yes, it would be wiser to use the word 'allegedly' to avoid legal issues.
